Amazing Objects!!

From time to time, I will post different pictures of different/weird objects that Bidou and I come across during our travels. Tonight Bidou brought me to see this famous "Rouet". It's in the Guiness Book of Records as being the biggest "Spinning Wheel" - however I am not sure if this is the proper translation. It is located in the city of Sainte-Germaine de Boulé.

Height : 14 feet
Diametre of wheel : 8 feet

    Spinning wheel is exactly the right translation. It is huge! Was it used to make sweaters for giants?
