Hotel Del Coronado

Bidou standing on the ocean side of the Hotel Del Coronado. The hotel was established in 1888 and is a National Historic Landmark. It has also been the backdrop for the comedy classic "Some Like it Hot" starring Marilyn Monroe. Eleven U.S. Presidents has stayed at the Del.

Inside the hotel - it's amazing! Just beautiful.

There is also an outside skating rink - 25$ (including skate rental) for 3 hours of skating near the ocean.

Christmas Luncheon at Chazel Capital

Rain Rain go away... come back another day!!

Since last Friday it has been non stop rain in San Diego. This is the view from my bedroom window. When we arrived, there was a small little creek behind CCTop but now it is a full blown river with very heavy current !!! Scary!

Sunday afternoon with Gary & Amy

We meet up with old Morristown friends Amy & Gary in San Diego - well actually only Gary is the old one!! We went to this nice Mexican restaurant where the food, local beers and company was great!

Then we went to their ocean side appartment in La Jolla, CA. Here is the view from their balcony! The view is indeed worth every penny of the $10,000/month they pay on rent!!! :)

We were happy to notice that our xmas card (first on left) was on display among many others. We are simply hoping that they did not display it because they knew we were coming over :)
