Biosphere 2

In 1990, Biosphere 2 was open to the public.  This unique struture was created to better understand how natural environments create habitable conditons for human sustainability. It is a unique facility that can be used to understand the role of life on Earth and the effects of climate change.  Biosphere 2 contains recreations of 5 of Earth's biomes, plus a human habitat and a large ecological experiment facility.

St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery

Daddy, Bidou and I was very intrigued about the Greek Orthodox Monastery.  Their story is very interesting.  Click on the title and it will direct you to their website.

One of the many beautiful chapels

All guest are to be modestly dressed: men are required to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts and women long skirts, long-sleeved blouses and head scarves.  And if you arrive at the monastery not appropriately dressed - they have a supply of clothing available.  Here I am all dressed up - ready for my visit.
