Mine Exploring ~

Bidou took a day trip up to Etna, CA to assess a mining opportunity.This picture was taken bright & early in the morning before leaving with his prospector kit that I had no idea he owned. I even packed him a lunch that consisted of egg sandwiches and egg shells - oupssss!

After a 3 hour hike to the mine at 7,000 alt. he was disapointed
to find the mine entrance had collapsed and was now covered in snow!

He got home at 9 pm very pooped!!

We are here for the week!! Very quiet campground - nice people,

many Canadians stop here overnight on their way to San Diego.

When we reached the Johnston Ridge Observatory Center (elev. 4,200') located on the north face of the mountain - the parking lot and surroundings were covered with snow!!!

Last Supper

We spent our last evening in Vancouver at our favorite restaurant "Old Spaghetti Factory" with new friends Robert "Bob" and Nicole. Beautiful and fun evening.

Ghost Train - Stanley Park

Stanley Park hosts an annual Halloween Ghost Train and this year's theme was "Alice in Wonderland". It was a fun child at heart activity.

Monday's Meal

Bidou LOVES mashed, boiled, baked, roasted potatoes - he could and he would only eat potatoes for the rest of his life and would be happy and satisfied. So while Bidou is away I am indulging on my favorite foods!

Lunch - smoked salmon with black pepper and vinegar with some brocoli!

Dinner - cheese & spinach ravioli with a rose sauce and mushrooms and a glass of milk!

I've turned CCTop into a sewing room! I hope to have a final product to show before the week ends!

A perfect Saturday!

This morning, I declared that today was "date night" afternoon... so we decided to go to the movies. Bidou and I DO NOT have the same taste in movies so to make an interesting "date night" afternoon we went to different movies but at the same theater. I saw "The Social Network" and he saw "Wall Street". We then decided to go out for diner at my favorite restaurant...
